methods of payment
Products that are not in stock have to be ordered for manufacture in Italy, and can be purchased by the following methods - We will require payment for the products on order, which can be in the form of an initial 50% deposit - by bank transfer- - our bank details will be supplied on request. We will require the balance when production has been completed, and the products have been packaged for shipment by courier from Italy, which can be paid by credit card, or bank transfer - the payments can all be made through AlertPay.com, with an added 4% process tariff.
No goods will be shipped until full payment on the order is made.

All prices on our website are in Euro. We offer discounts on multiple item purchases from selected manufacturers. Shipping is charged separately, and dependent on weight and fragility of the items. for north america and worldwide shipments - shipping will be calculated separately on order, dependent on product weight and volume. We also offer the option of supplying bulkier products - sinks, bathtubs - for customer collection from Italy
delivery times
Our quoted order|delivery time for non-stock products is 4-6 weeks from order, shipped by courier from Italy - the products will be manufactured in the respective factories in Italy, and then shipped on completion by TNT Global Express Couriers. However, this delivery time is not binding in all orders as the bath and kitchen products have to be ordered and shipped from different Italian companies, with varying delivery schedules, which may be affected by circumstances beyond our control eg. seasonal closedowns, factory production delays, industrial strikes. We advise our clients not to book plumbers or other building contractors prior to receiving the ordered items. lavabo will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from any delay in delivery. cancellations and returns
Cancellations after order, or returns of items that have no damage or defect are subject to a 15%-30% restocking fee, depending on the manufacturer, plus inbound and outbound shipping charges. This is due to the fact that the bathroom products are manufactured on order, and cancelled orders have to be stocked and stored on arrival back at the factories. There is a separate 10% re-stocking fee for items we have in stock, at the time of order - 'items in stock'. We will offer refunds or part refunds after order if the goods arrive damaged or defective.
when the product is delivered
Please open and inspect all items upon delivery as courier services offer a short time frame in which to make claims. On delivery of the ordered product/s, please check it|them thoroughly before confirming the delivery received in GOOD CONDITION. If this inspection is not immediately possible due to the packaging, please sign the acceptance form, inserting the word 'RESERVE' to indicating the recepient reserves the client has the right to contact the courier after delivery regarding a problem.

We will either refund the total or order a replacement if this is acceptable. We cannot accept items that are used, worn or altered. Products must be returned in original packing and resaleable condition. No refunds or exchanges may be made after 48hrs of the date of delivery. Refunds will be made within 30 days of a written cancellation request.

united states plumbing compatibility
European plumbing pipes are in the metric system while US pipes are in the Imperial - feet/inches - system. However, connection between the two systems is very easy. For example, the standard European tap pipe is 10mm in diameter, which can be connected to a 3/8" female hose, which we can supply on request. Likewise, the Bathroom Suites, Bathroom Taps, Bathroom Sanitaryware can also be easily installed. It is important to note that European and US sourced sinks share the same drainhole dimension.
